Diffuse Parenchymal Lung Disease

Rare Lung Disease

The rare lung disease clinic takes advantage of Cleveland Clinic’s vast portfolio as a quaternary referral center to aid patients with the least common pulmonary diseases. It leverages the combined experience of our providers from pulmonary medicine, pathology and thoracic radiology to help ensure correct diagnoses and optimal treatment plans. This program is also actively involved in research to help better understand treatment strategies for autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (aPAP). The rare lung disease clinic is a LAM Foundation-approved LAM Clinic site for patients with Lymphangioleiomyomatosis.
