Call for Abstracts
Deadline Midnight EST March 1st 2026

Note: Please do not submit an abstract if you are not prepared to attend the conference and present your topic

The Program Committee will schedule podium or poster sessions and will assign the dates and times of presentations. All presenters are required to register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fees. If the primary author of an abstract is unable to attend the conference, the author should plan for another individual to present the paper or poster, and that individual must register for the conference.
Tips for success
Abstracts of all papers should reflect or include:
- Overall consistency between Purpose, Approach, Outcomes, and Conclusion
- Overall clarity, including clear writing
- Overall significance
Selection of abstracts for presentation at the annual conference will be based upon scientific merit.
Abstracts
- Complete the paperwork and COI and indicate your preferred type of presentation (paper, oral or poster)- paperwork includes 5 recent (within 5 years) references, and 2 learning objectives
- Abstracts are limited to 350 words, this does not include the title, which is limited to 10 words. No references and no tables or graphs are permitted in the abstract.
- Use the following headers: introduction, purpose, method, results, and conclusion.
- Abstracts that do not conform to the guidelines or that arrive after the due date will not be reviewed
- We can only communicate with the person who submits the abstract, not any secondary individual, and we will only communicate via email
This is a 2-day conference- presenters are expected to be there both days and we cannot accommodate any special requests for the time or date of your specific presentation.

Topics
Completed research study- (do not submit an abstract for a study that is not completed)- any specialty- Qualitative & Quantitative Studies will be considered
Innovation- Share best practices for facilitating nursing innovation that your organization has tried
Evidence-based Practice- Completed systematic review or meta-analysis following PRISMA guidelines (https://www.prisma-statement.org/) or completed EBP project implemented in your organization
Formats
Paper Presentations (Research)- limited to 30 minutes – One presenter only at the podium per presentation
Oral presentations (Research & EBP)- limited to 15 minutes to present and a 5-minute Q&A – One presenter only at the podium per presentation
Poster presentations- posters must conform to size requirements (No bigger than 4 ft high and 6 ft long) - presenters are expected to be at their posters during viewing both days of the conference. Posters are to be set up before the conference (by 7:30 am) and removed at the end of day 2 (no later than 4:30 pm).

- Registration cannot be refunded after May 1, 2026.
