Kruse Memorial Scholarship Past Winners

2017

Sixty-six students from 17 health science disciplines and 16 academic institutions were eligible for the Robert D. Kruse Memorial Scholarship. Three winners were selected by Mrs. Alice Kruse, and each received $5,000:

  • Morgan Barnum, Pharmacy, The University of Findlay
  • Melanie Holmes, Radiologic Technology, Cleveland Clinic School of Diagnostic Imaging
  • Joshua Scribben, Physical Therapy, Cleveland State University

Five winners were selected by a Health Sciences Education selection committee, and each received $3,000:

  • Michael Blake, Occupational Therapy, The University of Toledo
  • Kaitlyn Deran, Occupational Therapy, Cleveland State University
  • Kelsey Dietrick, Speech-Language Pathology, The University of Toledo
  • Clarissa Jovingo, Respiratory Therapy, The University of Akron
  • Madeline Meyers, Physician Assistant, Kettering College

2016

Forty-eight students from 11 health science disciplines and 21 academic institutions were eligible for the Robert D. Kruse Memorial Scholarship. Three winners were selected by Mrs. Alice Kruse, and each received $5,000:
