Weight Management in MS

The comorbidity, obesity, can complicate living with multiple sclerosis. Obesity is associated with higher disease severity and poorer outcomes for people with MS.¹ It also may increase the damage in the brain resulting from MS.² The Mellen Center strives to identify patients who would benefit from treatment to help decrease their weight so that they have better MS outcomes and a better quality of life.
