Inpatient Survey
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requires United States hospitals that treat Medicare patients to participate in the national Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, a standardized tool that measures patients’ perspectives of hospital care.
