Medical Patients (N = 7842)

7842 medically treated patients had at least two visits with PROMIS-10 Physical Health data available for analysis. Among those patients whose baseline PROMIS-10 Physical Health score ≤ 45 (N = 4068), 37.8% (N = 1537) showed improvement, 46.3% (N = 1883) remained stable, and 15.9% (N = 648) worsened.

Median duration of follow-up was 1466 days (range, 180-3347 days).

Surgical Patients (N = 288)

288 surgical patients had a pre-surgery visit and post-surgery visit with PROMIS-10 Physical Health data available for analysis. Among those patients whose baseline PROMIS-10 Physical Health score ≤ 45 (N = 142), 41.5% (N = 59) showed improvement, 43% (N = 61) remained stable, and 15.5% (N = 22) worsened.

Median duration of follow-up was 1172 days (range, 180-2625 days).

Clinically meaningful change was defined as a 5-point change in T-score, based on one-half the standard deviation.¹
