Our mission at the Thyroid Head and neck Oncology and Pediatric Endocrine (Thyroid HOPE) Center at Cleveland Clinic Children’s is to provide compassionate, comprehensive and state of the art care to all pediatric patients and family members affected by cancer and to be the leaders in innovation and research in order to work towards making pediatric cancer a preventable and curable disease.
The Thyroid HOPE Center offers a unique multidisciplinary approach to the management of children with a variety of head and neck masses, both benign and malignant. Our state-of-the art services, including in-office ultrasound and biopsy capabilities, allow for a comprehensive and expeditious evaluation of head and neck masses.

After you call to arrange an initial appointment with our Thyroid HOPE team, one of our providers will reach out to you to perform a pre-visit intake. Please make arrangements to have copies of prior imaging, imaging reports, operative notes, laboratory studies, pathology reports, audiograms, and consult notes available that you would like us to review prior to your appointment.
Online Second Opinions
We also offer second opinions through Cleveland Clinic MyConsult®, an effective and secure option for consultation without the time and expense of travel. Rachel Georgopoulos, MD will review your medical records and test results and provide a comprehensive, personalized report, taking care to answer your specific questions.
