Postponing In-Person Support Groups Due to COVID-19

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person groups are currently postponed. Instead, all bereavement groups will be offered online through the use of a video meeting platform.

Cleveland Clinic Bereavement Support Groups

Our focus is caring for you through compassionate listening, quality grief and bereavement education, and the offering of group services which support healing of mind, body, and spirit. These are all offered at no cost.

As we transition from the public health emergency our groups will remain online. To sign up for any group, please call 216.444.9819.

Main Campus Monthly Group
This is perhaps the most open-ended of all our offerings. There is no set agenda. There is no limit to how few or how many meetings you may attend. This group is good even if you aren’t ready to talk but just need the company of people who understand grief. The group is led by Rev. Amy Greene, Director of Spiritual Care for the Cleveland Clinic system. We ask you to sign up in advance if possible.

Topics are dependent upon attendees’ needs at the time.

DATES: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month
TIME: 5 – 6:30 p.m.

Moving Forward Monthly Groups
This drop-in group addresses a different topic in grief each month and invites participants to explore and share the connections to their own grief journey.

DATES: 3rd Tuesday of each month

TOPICS:
January: After the Holidays – Now What?
February: Continuing Bonds
