Center for Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain
The Center Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain includes a team of physicians, nurses, psychologists, counselors, physical therapists and occupational therapists to address concerns within chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. For the care of patients with endometriosis, we have initiated a comprehensive imaging protocol to be able to diagnose endometriosis pre-operatively in order to facilitate shared decision-making and plan surgical treatment. If surgical intervention is necessary, we also collaborate with colorectal surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery to optimize patient outcomes and recovery.
2015 − 2018
The treatment options for patients with endometriosis include medical therapies, laparoscopic excision of endometriosis, and/or hysterectomy.
