Overview
The Launchpad to Nursing Boot Camp is a community outreach program offered to middle and high school students. This educational boot camp offers nursing exploration opportunities to students by providing informative and immersive learning experiences. The boot camp includes hands-on nursing simulation, interactive skill sessions, engaging group activities, and collaborative learning opportunities.
Requirements
To participate in the Launchpad to Nursing Boot Camp, students must:
- Be in at least 6th grade by the start of the upcoming academic school year.
- Be interested in a nursing career.
Boot camp offerings
6th-8th Graders:
- Thursday, July 18, 2024, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at Cleveland Clinic main campus.
- Monday, August 5, 2024, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at Hillcrest Hospital.
- Saturday, November 2, 2024, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at West Park Learning Center.
9th-10th Graders:
- Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 – 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
