Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Tracy from Dr Pohlmans office, unasked, took on the responsibility of scheduling my CT scans plus 2 doctor appointments (one each with both of my oncologists) on the same day I was getting chemo. Who does that? I thought it would be a stressful day but everything went exactly as scheduled. As usual, Dr Pohlman was already prepared to discuss how I was doing, and again as usual, he immediately gave me the good news "no cancer". I love that he doesn't make me wait to hear those beautiful words.

I was concerned about how Zoom would work in this type of communication. Dr Pohlman made it a very positive asset by focusing the camera on his face ONLY. That was all I could see on the screen.....his face. It encouraged me to be very precise in my end of the communication.
