The Doctor is fantastic. Personal, compassionate and listens. He sincerely cares and is easy to communicate with!

Reviewed on Jan 23, 2020

I felt that Dr. Scharpf was very dismissive of my health complaints. while he felt a portion of my condition did not match my symptoms, he did not offer further inquisition into other issues he could have addressed. He decided that stress was my problem without even asking a single question about my personal life or lifestyle. Considering the severity of my symptoms, I felt very neglected and like my appointment was a waste of time and energy as appointments are not easy for me to keep due to my health. Dr. Scharpf did agree to do basic and minimal imaging studies but only after I maintained that I at least deserved some sort of formal diagnostic process. I feel that he ignored pertinent diagnostic information that I brought with me to the appointment which included imaging discs and a written diagnosis from another care provider. I honestly expected a lot more.

Reviewed on Dec 20, 2019

Because the doctor was very behind in schedule I felt rushed and like a number rather than a patient. Visit was roughly 5 minutes. I love my doctor and understand his demand for more critical issues but this is the first time in 10 years that the visit seemed impersonal as I know he was rushing to the next patient. I believe that the doctors are overbooked through no fault of theirs but for the cattle mode of pushing more patients through for the almighty dollar. That so diminishes the personal aspect Cleveland Clinic is awarded for in treating PATIENTS FIRST....what a shame. In ten years this is the first time I felt like a payment rather than a valued person/patient. I was upset about the visit the whole drive home that my beloved hospital has digressed into a meat market.

Reviewed on Dec 19, 2019

I feel rushed when I'm in there. Dr. Scharpf is very kind and nice, but I feel like I'm a number and not a true concern.
