Innovations & Patents
- Participated in the design and testing of a new leg brace (hip flexion assist orthosis) in patients with multiple sclerosis. A pilot study of the brace was funded by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The results of the study were accepted for publication in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Patients with hip flexor weakness using the brace have experienced significant improvement of walking performance and leg strength.

To say Dr Bethoux is a good listener is an understatement. He is a very kind, respectful, competent, and knowledgeable practitioner. Although it is not pleasant to receive injections in my neck, I have total confidence in his abilities. My husband and I extremely pleased with Dr. Bethoux. Our daughter has multiple disabilities and he is wonderful with her. Her is very caring and has really helped her with her problem. It is definitely worth the trip up to Cleveland Clinic.
