Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 6/18/2017, Dr. Krebs has reported the financial relationships with the companies listed below. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. For orthopaedic care, I will always go to Dr. Krebs. He is the best and my care before and after was exceptional and resulted in the best outcome for my re-vised knee replacement. Cheryl, his nurse is also exceptional !

Reviewed on May 3, 2018

Dr. Krebs is extremely competent, and goes the extra mile to make sure the patient is fully aware of their condition and expectations.

Appointment was for 11:30, waited exactly an hour (into exam room at 12:30). Dr Krebs is excellent, his time is valuable, but so is mine.

Reviewed on Apr 16, 2018

Dr. Viktor Krebs is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who performed a highly complicated, operation on my knee following a peri-prosthetic fracture. He is a great listener who clearly explains what he has done while showing me the xrays. He always gives information that is helpful. I feel that he genuinely cares about my health, well-being, and ability to be mobile. Although he is very busy, he takes whatever time is needed to do a thorough assessment of my range of motion and gait. His answers to my questions are straightforward and easy to understand. I travel from out of state to see him because he is the BEST!

I never saw Dr. Krebs. I consulted with one of his associates. I arrived about 45 minutes prior to my appt and was immediately taken to XRays. After XRays, I was taken to a room and was visited almost immediately by Dr. Krebs associate. He seemed very knowledgeable and I am satistied with this appointment. Timing was excellent and I completed the appointment before my actual appointment time.

Excellent protocol was given to the PT's for my care and rehab.

Reviewed on Jan 22, 2018

The clerk that processed my paperwork at the check-out desk did not read the paperwork because she stated that PT appointments were not scheduled at that desk. She started to give me the paperwork back & I told her there were 3 Dr. order's on the paper. The clerk replied "let me see the paper again" I handed it back & she found the information needed to schedule my next appointment & follow thru with x-rays as ordered by Dr. Krebs
