Dr. Thamilarasan was attentive, sympathetic (empathetic) and gave advice that I could understand so that I can plan my future care for my heart disease. He made the visit very important and useful.

I have been seeing Dr. Thamilarasan for the last 18 years, and have had two open heart surgeries at the Cleveland Clinic. I credit God and the Cleveland Clinic for my life. Dr. Thamilarasan has been the "captain" of my care for the last 18 years, and he is tremendous. Thank you, and may God bless you always all ways.

Dr. Thamalarisan is a very kind and compassionate doctor who is concerned with his patients. Everyone has wonderful things to say about him. He treats everyone with respect.

I have been seeing Dr. Thamilarisan for many years. From day one, I felt like he heard me, listened to me, and remembered what I said, even months later. He is calm, careful, and so respectful about allowing me to make my decisions about my health care. At the same time, he is honest and straightforward about what he thinks is the best strategy for me. He has taken such good care of me, and I firmly believe he saved my life with his recommendations about surgery and follow-up treatment. I adore him, and so does my family. His staff, also, has made me feel so cared about. I look forward to my check-ups with him--how many people can really say that?

I am a complicated case. After much discussion, Dr. Tham asked me to have labs done after I left my appointment with him. He called me personally the next day at 8:00 am (not the first time he has done this, by any means), so I was able to proceed quickly with his suggestions about prescriptions and follow-up care at home.

I travel from South Carolina to specifically see Dr. Thamillarasen every few years. He was my cardiologist before my mitral valve surgery and I have a lot of trust in him. i feel there is plenty of time given to ask my questions, and I am given answers I can understand. Also the tests performed at the Cleveland Clinic are superb compared to what I get at home.

It is one stop shopping. I am amazed that I can have all tests done, see the doctor and get my results all in a four hour span. Good Job!!

It's hard to believe, but Dr. Thamilarasan has been my cardiologist for 18 years. He is the finest cardiologist I could ask for, and I am so grateful that he is the "Captain" of my health care. I've had two open heart surgeries at the Clinic, and all I have are kudos for he and his staff. The Clinic has saved my life. What more can I say? Thank you God and thank you Cleveland Clinic, particularly Dr. Thamilarasan, Dr. Cosgrove, Dr. Tchou, and Dr. McCurry.
