Biography

About Erin Roesch, MD

Erin Roesch, MD, is an Associate Staff Breast Medical Oncologist at Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. She specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and uses numerous forms of therapy such as chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. She is very involved in clinical trials research, and some of her specific interests include development and application of novel agents, triple-negative breast cancer, fertility in oncology patients, women's health and survivorship. Her approach to care is built on cultivating strong relationships with her patients.

Dr. Roesch earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she was selected as chief fellow for her clinical, teaching and leadership abilities.

Dr. Roesch is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor walks, cycling and reading.

Dr. Roesch is always kind, attentive, and caring. Questions are answered completely and always treats you like you are her only patient. Her warmth and knowledge make her an excellent physician and the reason I travel 3.5 hours to see her! I can't say enough about this department and Dictor Roesch. She is so on top of everything and very thro to cover all aspects if medical problems. If she feel you need to go to another type of doctor and get test done. She schedules tests so that the other doctor would already have results to help diagnose, if it's in another area and not beast cancer.

Dr. Roesch is always wonderful to see, and she works with me to minimize side effects and stay with the very tolerable treatment I'm on, which continues to keep my Stage IV HER-2 inflammatory breast cancer stable or reducing. My husband and I feel a personal connection with her. Over the years, she has referred me to other Cleveland Clinic providers, such as a neurologist and currently physical therapy, which have helped me to recovery from neuropathy and regain my strength.
