Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 1/21/2021, Dr. Roesch has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. I had additional questions the next day and called the doctor's office. Within less than an hour, Katie, the APN with Dr. Roesch, called me back and answered some of them, and less than 2 hrs later, the doctor called me back to answer the rest of the questions . I was glad to see they worried well as a team and responded so quickly. I felt well-taken-care-of,

it took a total of about 3+ weeks to schedule an appointment. I was first contacted based on my physician's referral and Cleveland Clinic treated it like I was just starting treatment, they never reviewed my history or asked for additional information from my physician. I then received another call from someone else about a week later to schedule and was advised that they would need to look into whether a teleconference call was an option. Then another week later I received a call to schedule the teleconference call. I would think that the scheduling process would've been a little smoother.

Dr. Roesch invested her time and care. She made time for all of my questions and encouraged me to take my time with her to ensure I really had a chance to ask about my case. She was kind, courteous, and obviously knowledgeable. I just returned to the NE Ohio area after having been diagnosed and begun treatment in a distant part of the state. I was worried about my transition to a new doctor. I am not worried anymore. I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Roesch.

This was my first time seeing Dr Roesch. (I used to see Dr Monterro.) She was WONDERFUL! She introduced herself and told me of her medical background. We discussed my current medications and the possible future, after I finish my current treatments in a year. She made me feel very comfortable! I feel lucky to have her as my new doctor!
