Biography

About Mayank Roy, MD

Mayank Roy, MD, MRCS, is a board-certified general surgeon with a specialty interest in liver and pancreas surgery. He completed his general surgery residency and fellowship in hepatobiliary and pancreas surgery from Cleveland Clinic Florida. Following his fellowship, he spent further two years in London, UK training in liver and pancreas surgery. During his training, he has acquired advanced laparoscopic skills. Dr. Roy received his medical degree from the University of Sambalpur, India. Extensive inter-continental experience from America, Europe, and Asia has given him a broad perspective to provide the best treatment to his patients.

Dr. Roy is the associate program director of general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He was entitled to the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007. He won multiple awards and served in numerous surgical committees during his residency and fellowship. He has published many papers related to his surgical field. Dr. Roy is currently pursuing online masters in clinical trials from the University of Edinburgh.
