About David Wolinsky, MD

David Wolinsky, MD is a graduate of Columbia University where he received his undergraduate and medical degrees. He carried out his postgraduate training and then spent seven years on staff at St. Luke's Hospital in New York City before joining Albany Associates in Cardiology in Albany, New York where he worked for more than 20 years. There he was the director of nuclear cardiology for 20 years and also served as director of heart failure and director of cardiac rehabilitation and wellness. Dr. Wolinsky is the founder of the Nuclear Cardiology department at Albany Associates in Cardiology.

At St. Peter's Hospital, Dr. Wolinsky was medical director of the heart failure program where he was responsible for nursing education and head of the Heart Failure Quality Assurance program.

In 2011, Dr. Wolinsky joined Cleveland Clinic Florida where he is a leader in nuclear cardiology. He is a founding member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and a member of the Board of Directors and its quality assurance committee. He actively teaches and lectures at both regional and national meetings and is involved in clinical nuclear cardiology research. 

Dr. Wolinsky is a champion for community education for heart disease. He frequently lectures on cardiovascular risk reduction and heart failure as part of his role as director of Cardiac Rehab and Wellness.

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. i had been a patient of a physician who retired. the retired physician and his assistant were devoid of personality they were like robots I thought the whole cardiology dept. was like that. what a pleasant surprise to meet Dr Wolinsky a friendly,cheerful human not robot!A whole different ball game!
