Dr. Gorgun called me with my diagnosis and course of treatment - that was a first for any doctor of mine!! I was so surprised and appreciative. I'm in great hands!

The doctors didn't talk with me after my ESD procedure. I thought at least one of the providers would have given me an update on how the procedure went. It felt kind of impersonal.

Dr. Gorgun was personable and professional. I was very pleased with the appointment and feel more relaxed regarding my upcoming procedure.
Reviewed on Jan 31, 2024
Dr. Gorgun came into the room to discuss findings and was very strong in his stance of not willing to try to do surgery without a colostomy as the end result. Then said he would see me once I had completed chemotherapy. Even if he said I would try to proceed with surgery and the chances that you will not end up with a colostomy are very slim. He stated that if I do surgery that colostomy was the only result. His resident was more concerned amd will to discuss the situation before Dr. Gorgun entered the room. Dr. Gorgun in previous encounters had been helpful and willing to proceed with a more caring approach.
