Podiatric Medicine & Surgery
Thank you for your interest in Cleveland Clinic’s Podiatric Residency Training Program, a part of Cleveland Clinic's Orthopaedic Program, ranked among the top three nationally by U.S. News & World Report (the top rankings in Ohio). Our goal is to help you become all you want to be. We train our physicians to be skilled board-certified podiatrists, while preparing them to meet the challenges of podiatric medicine and surgery in the next decades.
Cleveland Clinic, in conjunction with Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, offers a fully accredited three-year residency training program. At Cleveland Clinic, you will receive broad clinical experience in all aspects of podiatry to prepare you for your choice of a community-based or academic career. You’ll have access to advanced foot and ankle surgical procedures and techniques, as well as a vast array of research opportunities to further prepare you for clinical care or an academic career.
Our diverse and extensive academic program allows residents to gain the most up-to-date information on all aspects of medical management pertaining to the practice of podiatry. In addition to our three-year program, we offer residents the choice of completing their first-year residency training at Cleveland Clinic and finishing their surgical training at one of our partner institutions.
