Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 6/12/2017, Dr. Chiunda has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. I don't feel she did a complete exam for the problem and was ready to dismiss the issue. I suggested a treatment; at that point she went ahead with my suggestion. I don't feel she understood my previous history with her and the same issue that I encountered then.

Dr. Chiunda listened and took the time to address my foot problems. I will always go to her in the future.

Wasn't pleased overall with the assessment made by the physician or the follow-up actions. The recommendations have not had a positive impact on my condition. Very pleasant physician though.

Dr. Chiunda gave me excellent care and attention, going beyond the immediate foot problem that brought me there to give me advice and directions on preventative care measures as well as therapeutic care. She inspired confidence and trust and had an engaging manner.

Excellent doctor. I like Dr Stella Chiunda very much. I think she is a very good doctor and seems to care for her patients. She is very friendly and concerned for your health. You have to feel very comfortable with her. I have also had other doctor's appointment through CCF over this time period that I am see Dr Chiunda; I have mention her name and my other doctors have all given her very good comments. It makes me feel that she is very liked and respected by the CCF Administration.

The doctor seemed rushed and did not fully explain diagnosis, nor did she ask if I had any questions.

Physician provider very clear instructions on my condition , and what was expected of me to improve. I still have a f/u appointment, and feel I am making good progress.

Gave me order for x-ray, did not follow that up with any instructions on how to fill the order, if I was done with my exam and could pack up, nothing. Just said she ordered it and then packed up to leave. I had to ask if I was done and what my next steps were. Overall nice providor, but didn't provide any instructions or follow up once the exam was done...
