Amputee

Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital’s Amputee Program offers comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation for patients who have experienced limb loss. Throughout recovery, our goal is to help patients maximize their functional independence, find emotional strength and confidence, and successfully transition back to home, work, and the community. Our integrated approach to amputee rehabilitation focuses on the post-surgical, prosthetic, and reintegration phases to:

  • Address proper wound care and limb management
  • Increase strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance
  • Decrease pain and discomfort
  • Train individuals to use prostheses with confidence to avoid complications

Brain Injury

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) affects more than 1.5 million Americans each year. However, no two injuries are alike, nor do they create the same challenges for patients and their families. At Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital, patients benefit from a program tailored to meet the unique physical and/or functional limitations, cognitive impairments, and emotional or behavioral difficulties. We deliver an integrated and intensive brain injury rehabilitation program, including medical, nursing, and therapy care, to address the complex needs of each patient. As a specialized hospital, we provide the earliest possible start to brain injury rehabilitation to help optimize the recovery at every level of injury. Our secure brain injury unit offers patients a safe environment to recover as they reach their goals on the road to recovery.

Neurological

Experiencing neurological challenges can be a difficult journey.
