Patients with HIV/AIDS should have testing for tuberculosis at the baseline visit; 99% of patients in the cohort had tuberculosis testing in 2016, 100% in 2017 to 2020. Patients should also have HBV and HCV testing at baseline, 100% of patients had baseline tests. The goal of treatment is viral suppression to a level <400 copies/mL: 98% in 2016, 94% in 2017, 90% in 2018, 97% in 2019, and 97% in 2020 had a viral load < 400 copies/ml ; 88% of patients had a viral load < 400 copies/mL on every test in 2016, 90% in 2017, 87% in 2018, 100% in 2019, and 97% in 2020. These outcomes are based on guidelines prepared by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, HIV Medicine Association, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and HIV/AIDS Workgroup, and are the standard of care for HIV patients.
