Patients with HIV/AIDS should have testing for tuberculosis at the baseline visit; 100% of patients in the cohort had tuberculosis testing in 2018 to 2022. Patients should also have HBV and HCV testing at baseline, 100% of patients had these baseline tests. The goal of treatment is viral suppression to a level <400 copies/mL: 90% in 2018, 90% in 2019, 97% in 2020, 100% in 2021, and 98% in 2022 had a viral load < 400 copies/mL. These outcomes are based on guidelines prepared by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, HIV Medicine Association, Infectious Diseases Society of America¹, and HIV/AIDS Workgroup², are the standard of care for HIV patients.
