The Center for Functional Medicine focuses on addressing the root cause of chronic disease using nutrition as a first line therapy. Our programs enable parents and children to interact with our Functional Medicine team of physicians, dietitians and health coaches, and gain insight into normalizing digestive issues, reducing toxins, developing relaxation techniques, and improving sleep habits.

The Functional Kids program has two different age-dependent classes where children (5-12 years old) will be accompanied by a parent . This program will focus on various topics including, but not limited to:

  • Digestive issues (constipation, diarrhea, pain and bloating)
  • Food sensitivities and allergies
  • Optimizing nutrition
  • Stress and relaxation
  • Toxins, sleep and movement

#SoFunctional

Participants: New and Established Patients (7-12 year old)
Number of Sessions: 4
Frequency: Every other week

#SoFunctional is a 4 session, bi-weekly program of shared medical appointments that education on nutrition to children and their parents. The #SoFunctional program is offered to children between the ages of 7 – 12 years old, accompanied by a parent.

This program will provide health information, basic lifestyle skills and dietary guidance needed to help kids (and parents) stay functional.
