The White Coat Breakfast is held each year at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center immediately before the Lerner College of Medicine's White Coat graduation ceremony at Severance Hall. This event is for CCLCM graduates and their families.

In 2018, the Alumni Association started a new tradition of welcoming students by gifting them a personalized stethoscope.
