Kerry H. Levin, MD, is a Staff neurologist in the Department of Neurology and the Department of Neuromuscular Center at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus. He began his position at Cleveland Clinic in 1984 as a neurologist and currently serves in multiple capacities, including Chair of the Department of Neurology, Director of the Neuromuscular Center at the Neurological Institute, Program Director for neurophysiology and neuromuscular fellowships and Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University.
Twice awarded Teacher of the Year by the Neurology Department, Dr. Levin'sspecialtiesare electromyography and clinical neuromuscular diseases.
After earning a medical degree at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Dr. Levin did a dual residency in internal medicine and neurology, serving as chief neurology resident at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in electromyography at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Levin is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with subspecialty certifications in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology . He is also certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
Dr. Levin is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and of the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and his been elected to membership in the American Neurological Association. He has held leadership positions in these and other professional associations and sits on the editorial board of Muscle and Nerve, a peer-reviewed journal. The author of several books and many articles, Dr. Levin is also engaged in clinical research with interests ranging from the electrodiagnosis of radiculopathy and defects of neuromuscular junction transmission, to the treatment of polyneuropathy.

Arranging Akpointments for six-month intervals is perplexing. Evenc when placed immediately after seeing Dr. Levin, the appointments are later rearranged for more than six months. He and I have discussed this problem. The He encourages six-month visits. He tells me to call when this change happens
