Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

I needed to see a Gastroenterologist as soon as possible to determine the source of a recent problem I had been having. Although I called in early March there were no available appointments for any Gastro until June. Allison Schneider was highly recommended to me. Fortunately, I was able to get in to see her because of a cancellation. If I hadn't got in to see her I would have gone to Memorial Regional in Hollywood instead. You clearly need to hire more doctors in this field to meet the demand.

Dr. Schneider is an excellent physician and person. She truly cares for my health and is always patient and interested in what I have to say. After needing to have half of my pancreas and all of my gallbladder removed, I had difficulty at first in adjusting to my new situation. Dr. Schneider helped me to find the right dose of the right medication to function as I had done before. Cleveland Clinic Weston is fortunate to have her on its staff.

She is an excellent physician and is extremely caring and responsive to my needs. As my husband was a physician , I am very attuned to running of an office and was not happy with the long wait for an appointment by going thru your regular appointment phone number. It was not until I found out about the direct office line that I was able to get an appointment
