It is also the most gratifying to see a very complex patient, who has been turned down by other centers, who comes to me for an opinion. We fix them, and they feel like a million bucks in follow-up. For someone like me who has come from a modest background, not only is this gratifying, but incredibly humbling.”

Dr. Desai is an excellent physician/care provider. Have recommended him to other friends in my area, Dayton, Ohio. He listens to my questions and concerns and gives me the advice and info that is important to the situation. My blood does not like foreign objects in my heart(tissue mitral valve) and have had blood clots before. The situation on 9/9th that was discussed is about having foot surgery while I am on Warfarin, etc. (reason for foot surgery, 2 bones have moved). Dr. Desai explained very thoroughly what I am to do and understood the necessity for this surgery for body balance and reducing foot pain.

Reviewed on May 20, 2019

I can tell that Dr. Desai does not have the time for each patient that he used to have. He used to sit down, and in a relaxed manner, discuss my cardiac results and care. The past two times I have seen him, however, he has remained standing and although still very friendly and caring, I was conscious of having to quickly ask my questions before he needed to rush off. All in all, though, I still have a wonderful opinion of Dr. M. Desai!
