I know I was a new patient, but took 4-5 months to get an appointment! But very happy once at the doctor!!

I was not only able to schedule an initial meeting with Dr. Huang on very short notice (6 days) but was able to schedule a nuclear stress test, get immediate results, schedule a blood draw/analysis and have a catheterization all within 6 days and that included a weekend. Results were posted immediately and a video conference was scheduled to discuss a plan moving forward. Only bad experiences was finding parking on the initial visit, a very long time to get an initial EKG and difficulty finding a vein for a port to do the nuclear stress test. The recovery following the catheterization seemed to be a little lax as compared to all other operations.

She did not do anything to help me. I drove all that way for her to tell me I'm healthy and did not give me any guidance on how to fix my symptoms.

Beyond 5 stars for Dr. Huang! I can easily receive Cardiology care closer to the residence. However, the manner in which Dr. Huang explains test results and overview of my issues, is beyond kind. I gratefully drive to the main campus because of Dr. Huang.

I was diagnosed with Afib in April in Columbus Dr Hammer was my cardiologist in Cleveland ten years ago. Wanted second opinion from him. Considered new patient now and couldn't see him until October. Scheduling set appt with Julie sooner and first thing she said was not the right cardiologist for me. She does preventative cardiology and needed regular or electric cardiologist. She was nice and examined me anyway but was going to make another referral.

Dr. Huang was more than helpful. I appreciated that she verbalized her thoughts as she worked to figure out what was wrong with me. She went way above and beyond to get me into a bed when she saw the extent of my anemia. She had me go home and wait but called me twice to update me on her efforts. I found her to be the consummate, compassionate professional.

Dr. Huang is outstanding because she takes time to explain imaging results, nutrition for heart health, exercise, and lab results. She said, "Look at this image of your heart with me, and I will explain." Dr. Huang expanded my knowledge of my heart and body, thereby Improving my health. Dr. Huang is realistic, reasonable, and extraordinarily skilled. I feel so blessed to have a cardiologist providing me with outstanding preventive treatment.

Dr. Huang came in and immediately seemed annoyed. She told us we'd regret driving 16 hours to come there because she wasn't the right kind of cardiologist that I needed to see. She kept telling us that we should have planned our trip better (even though the scheduler did for us). She laughed at me a few times. Once when we said we came here to get answers. She said, "today?!" And laughed. I've been extremely ill for 10 months and was desperate for help. After talking to staff on the phone before coming, I was sure we'd get it at Cleveland Clinic, but Dr. Huang seemed confused about why we were there. I'd try to tell her more of my symptoms and she'd tell me to stop talking so she can finish her questionnaire first. I told her that I'm a mom of 4 small babies and can't do much of anything physically. I used to be very active and work out but now I can barely do household chores and can barely hold my youngest child. When I do push myself to clean, it wipes me out for days which is so not normal. She asked me what I am able to do around the house and I said a few days ago I mopped. She said, "oh so you CAN do household chores". I was genuinely shocked by her rudeness. Her attitude towards me made me shut down completely during the appointment. I was in tears and wanted to walk out and drive all the way back home right then. It was sincerely the worst appointment I've ever had with a doctor.

I was surprised at the amount of time she spent with me and I appreciated it. It made me realize that was why I probably had to wait so long to see her. It is worth the wait when the doctor is so attentive. It is not worth the wait when the doctor is not!

Wouldn't necessarily say it's "easy to get the care you need." You have to book way in advance and sometimes wait for appointment delays. But it can be worth it for world class health care and for the attentiveness of this particular doctor.

Whenever I am in front of a physician, I freeze and smile. I seem to withhold all the information I had practiced in my mind the few days prior. Because of this I type out information that may assist in diagnosing and treatment. Most physicians in Michigan where I live really don't take it or have time to read it. I am very grateful that Dr Huang accepted the typed symptoms and history. Thank you
