Seems very interested to find a possible fix for my problem. Explained more then passed doctors. Wish I would have gotten this request after my last surgery in 2015.

Dr. Steinmetz knows that having surgery is my last choice. we discussed all my option which I am doing. what I am doing is working out and I am very thankful that my doctor respects that and me. Excellent

Reviewed on Feb 10, 2021

Dr Steinmetz explained my condition and gave me two options. he did not jump right into major surgery. But I chose the major surgery. I feel that was my best option.

Initially I was not able to schedule my virtual visit with Dr. Steinmetz as soon as I would have liked, but I understood completely as I know Dr. Steinmetz has many patients. I was very pleased when I was taken off the wait list to have my appointment moved earlier. This was done in an efficient manner via MyChart.

I have great respect for Dr. Steinmetz and I feel very fortunate that he is my surgeon.

Reviewed on Feb 3, 2021

He seemed rushed. Not sure if that was because he was running late or not. Dr. Steinmetz is an excellent doctor and was out of character.

Reviewed on Jan 29, 2021

when you are referred out of pain management because they can no longer control the pain, it seems ridiculous that you have to wait 3 months for an appointment with the doctor for the next phase - and had to go to pcp for pain relief in the meantime

Reviewed on Jan 29, 2021

had a video conference with Dr. Steinmetz, instead of having to wait another 6 weeks. was very satisfied with conference, which came about due to interjection from several personal contacts.

Setting up my appointment was outstanding. Actually getting connected to zoom was problematic But, Dr Steinmetz called me and then we connected to zoom

Reviewed on Dec 28, 2020

My appointment was for second opinion, and Dr. Steinmetz gave me a comprehensive evaluation of my MRI and its impact on my need for treatment. He put me completely at ease. His evaluation contradicted my neurosurgeon in Las Vegas and Dr. Steinmetz rationale and interpretation of the MRI indicated a great depth of knowledge of the underlying issue I have.

Dr. Steinmetz was so comfortable with the technology. He was able to do a screen share to display test results, and circle areas that he was discussing. It was as helpful as seeing the images in an office. He listened carefully and discussed my next steps with me. I would recommend him to the world!

Dr. Steinmetz was very supportive, a good listener, and helplful in my treatment plan Very good experience.

Reviewed on Oct 26, 2020

my failed back surgery has brought me such despair. Even though my diagnosis so far isn't what I had hoped for, at least I have had someone who has acknowledged what my condition actually is. for over a year, no one has explained to me what went wrong, til Dr. Steinmetz explained it. That was done via the same MRI the operating surgeon ordered and told me everything was fine. It was so refreshing to have someone listen to my story.
