Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 12/17/2017, Dr. Goraya has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Goraya was excellent. I can't say enough good things about her. She thoroughly read through my medical records and although she never met me before she quickly grasped my family history and acted accordingly. She spent a good amount of time with me and I felt that I was in good hands with her. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. I greatly appreciate her knowledge, concern and thorough care.

I drive 3 hours to see Dr. Goroya for follow-up from breast surgery. She is excellent as is the service from the Cleveland Clinic and its staff. I value her caring and her thorough, thoughtful advice.

I saw this doctor as my 3rd appointment related to my routine mammogram and she was the first to take the time to explain to me why I had been scheduled for follow up appointments and what was the concern. I was very impressed by her listening and retention skills; she knew my family history and my exam history without having to ask twice. She did an excellent job of explaining things to me. I would absolutely go back to her in a heartbeat.

Dr. Goraya was very kind and spent a lot of time with me to understand why I was there for a second opinion. She was very thorough in her exam and after my tests (mammogram & breast u/s) took a lot of time to make sure that I understood what had been seen via these tests and my options for next steps. She is probably the best doctor that I have ever seen and has spent more time with me than any other doctor that I have ever visited.
