This experience was absolutely the BEST medical experience I have ever had in my life. The professionalism of everyone right down to the person that changed the waste basket in my hospital room was phenomenal. Everyone in the operating room cared about my comfort and was concerned that I knew what was going on at all times. I was their number one priority. I cannot say enough about Dr. Saliba and the Dr. assisting him. They were absolutely amazing and at no time was I distressed about my situation because I knew I was in the best hands. These physicians explained everything they were going to do in the ablation procedure and I knew exactly what to expect. I have had three prior ablation's and I can say my experience's were nowhere near the caliber of the stellar treatment I received at the Cleveland Clinic. The operating room personnel was the utmost in professionalism and also added an atmosphere with calming conversation and humor. They were the best. This team was every patients dream being in a stressful situation.

So glad I made the trip and feel fully confident with our plan moving forward.

The Telemedicine meeting was basically a meet and greet event which provided Dr. Saliba and myself the opportunity to ask each other questions about the Watchman procedure and my tests at the hospital prior to the insertion of the Watchman. As for the video experience compared to an in person care provider...I used to be "old school" and wanted to speak to the physician in person but I have to say, this worked very well. One other thing....I have been to many specialists in my lifetime for different reasons and many of the specialists ask you a question and before you can answer, they start talking. I did not get that feeling from Dr. Saliba. When he asked me a question, I was able to provide my answer without being interrupted or him "talking over me".
