Dr. Morris Sasson was born and raised in Panama, where he earned his medical degree from the University of Panama. He went on to complete two years of internship training with the Ministry of Health in Panama before moving to the United States. He then completed a Research Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and joined the General Surgery residency program at Cleveland Clinic Florida where he completed two years of internship, residency and acted as chief resident for one year. Dr. Sasson then went on to complete two years of advanced training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the prestigious University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is double Board-certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Morris Sasson is a Vascular Surgeon with expertise in all aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery, including common procedures as well as special interest in complex treatments of thoracic and abdominal aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease, aortoiliac occlusive disease and dialysis access. In addition to combining the latest technology with best-practices, Dr. Sasson utilizes an evidence-based approach for all his patients.
Dr. Sasson is the author of more than 50 peer review publications, manuscripts and oral presentations in national and international meetings. He holds professional memberships in the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the South Florida Society of Vascular Surgery.
