Christopher T. Bajzer, MD, is a Staff Cardiologist in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Bajzer is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. He specializes in coronary intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, and carotid and cerebrovascular intervention.

Education and Training: A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, Dr. Bajzer completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak in Michigan. He served an additional year at William Beaumont as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Bajzer completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.
Research and Publications: Dr. Bajzer’s research activities include serving as a co-investigator for trials involving carotid angioplasty and stenting. He also is the principal investigator or co-investigator for several other trials related to coronary and peripheral vascular intervention. In addition, he has authored articles and book chapters on coronary, peripheral vascular and carotid intervention.
About Dr. Bajzer: “I enjoy my field most because it allows me to use every aspect of what I’ve trained to do since the beginning of my college career. From engineering to medical school to cardiology, it all kind of flowed.”

This was my first visit since the pandemic started. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the cardiac and blood labs. My attending nurse in the blood lab was extremely kind and gentle. Dr. Bajzer was his incredible self as always. He is truly an asset to the Clinic team.

Dr Bajzer always takes his time with me and goes over all my test results. He listens to my concerns whether it's related to cardiology or not and let's me know if it could be related to my heart. He is great about explaining things on a level that is easy to understand and that I don't have to google after I leave his office. I always feel like he is concerned about me and my well being. Wonderful doctor and man.

As previously described. this was my first appointment with Dr Bejar(sp) and I was hesitant about a video conf under that circumstance. He was very nice, seemed to have a full understanding of my history and made some great recommendations . I would not object to other zoom appointments at all.

I have already told anybody that will listen it's the absolute best hospital I've ever been in, so much so that I'm going to drive two hours to a doctor there and a cardiologist there from now on, every time... I don't mean this bad in fact I mean it good, it's more so of the individuals that you have working there than the facility all those are extremely nice facility

I chose to be a patient of Dr. Simon. After my problem was diagnosed he referred me to Dr. Bajzer who performed angioplasty. I think the Clinic is a fine oiled machine and have the utmost respect for them. It will always be my first choice for a medical provider and I live 2 hours away.

The doctor was able to explain in 10 minutes what the old thoracic surgeon was never able to explain. He provided us with options for a healthy resolution that the old thoracic surgeon did not have the skill set for nor did he recommend anyone. The doctor was fantastic!
