what would you think if got the following x-rays below? it doesn't look good nor very understandable. doctor said hip is fine but I have pain that's goes between my right hip and SI joint. he stated this isn't in his wheelhouse and I needed to see a spine doctor. hopefully you don't charge me for this visit. when I do for a new hip I will not ask for this doctor. I felt that I wasted his time. Advanced osteoarthritis right hip with complete loss of the joint space, subchondral sclerosis and marginal osteophyte formation. Prominent jointbody noted lateral to the superior acetabulum.Moderate osteoarthritis left hip. Degenerative changes lower lumbarspine.

Great for _____ Family Hlth. Ctr. to have a orthopaedic team with VERY good doctors.

Reviewed on Mar 4, 2021

We discussed future options on both knees. The Doctor was checking on a gel injection in the right knee and submitting to my insurance co. and if the procedure would be covered. I received a call from someone from the Dr's office that the procedure was denied. I personally called Medical Mutual to find out why. They had no record of the procedure request or denial. I did call the administrator at his office to advise. I feel we are taking positive steps to a quality of life issue with my knee and avoiding a knee replacement. My visit was also to have my left knee checked out because of pain. I am currently receiving therapy on both knees. I am a very active individual and trying to remain as physically active as possible. Thank you for your consideration.
