Experience: Dr. Bhattacharya specializes in caring for patients with heart failure and is experienced in managing this condition to help patients maximize their quality of life. His expertise includes right heart catheterization and exercise right heart catheterization, endomyocardial biopsy and cardioMEMS implantation.
Dr. Bhattacharya is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography and advanced heart failure and transplant.

Education: Dr. Bhattacharya is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. After completing his internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center, he began his specialty training as a fellow in cardiology at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Ind., where he was selected as chief cardiology fellow in his final year. Following his cardiology fellowship, he pursued subspecialty training at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) as a fellow in advanced heart failure and transplant.
Dr. Bhattacharya was named to the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2018 on completion of his UCSF fellowship.
Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Bhattacharya has published articles and abstracts related to heart failure research in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has presented at local and national medical meetings, speaking on some of the latest advances in the understanding and management of heart failure.

Leisure Activities: In his leisure time Dr. Bhattacharya enjoys spending time with his family and pets and reading history and historical fiction with a particular interest in espionage.

The care and compassion that Dr. Sean puts into his work is evident in my overall health result. He listens to all of my symptoms and came up with a plan that has improved my quality of life which I haven't had for the past year plus.
