Dr. Kwon is the Director of Laparoscopic Liver Surgery in Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute. His focus is in HPB Oncology and Liver Transplantation, including Living Donor Liver Transplantation. He completed hisĀ medical education including internship, surgical residency and fellowship in liver transplantation in Korea. Having had interest in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Kwon started performing laparoscopic liver resection in 2008. He has helped numerous centers, both domestic andĀ overseas, establish the laparoscopic and/or living donor liver transplantation programs, including Cleveland Clinic. Learn more about Dr. Kwon.
