Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Great experience with Dr. Goldman...his temperament set me at ease. The telemedicine worked great. I got my HTN medication sooner rather than later :)

As a patient seeking a new PCP (after 25 years with the same doctor at another facility), I went to the appointment with certain expectations if I was to remain his patient. Dr. Goldman's bedside rapport/active listening skills/diagnostic philosophy, etc. were refreshing. He took a thorough history and gave me multiple opportunities to add/clarify/edit his narrative. He did not presume to have all of the answers and we discussed the options he felt were the logical next steps. I think I've found my new PCP.

Dr Goldman is excellent! He was very prepared in reference to my history, compassionate and I felt as if I were present in the room with him. for Primary wellness care phone or zoom are more than adequate! However, for clients with chronic issues and on Rx-as a tenured (52 Years) with multiple degrees/experience in Nursing and HC- I have a bias about Physical exam as critical in managing care of mulitsystem, chronically and overmedicated individuals by the Physician as well as initial screening by PA/APN's. Please continue triage and assure that those who deserve to be examined have that option-esp auscultation, PE. Dr Goldman was able to direct care 6 months post fx after a partial knee replacement in May 2019 because he LISTENED with excellent HISTORY followed by PE and proper PA, PT and follow up with me that has facilitated an improved and less expensive outcome and a higher quality of life for me. MUCH improved Medical/Ortho Surgical case management. HE IS AN EXCELLENT and COMPASSIONATE PCP. Please make a note in his Performance Evaluation......I have many years of volunteer case management of brining elderly from Lorain County to CCF and UHOC-HE STANDS OUT as a front cover of Cleveland Magazine as to the Gold Standard of Care that I believe should be recognized in this ERA of automation/zoom/over usage of testing and LESS of personal History/PE/CONVERSATION and Respect to the Patient. Thank you Madeline R Zaworski MSN MBA RN FACHE CNAA Dr Goldman has the bedside manner of a Physician's Physician of what I refer to as the Golden Age of Medicine. He excels at both the Art and Science of Medicine and pays attention to the patient with an open heart - prepared in re to lab work/past history and last visit yet listening and very sensitive to assessing for clues of Body/Mind/Spirit that particularly in the age of virtual technology and fragmentation of specialized care- the patient can feel lost and not heard as a Human Being! He is the best Physician I have met at CCF. I have 62 years exp as a MSN/MBARN

This is the first zoom virtual visit I have done, so I was surprised at how comfortable and technically easy for me to use. I didn't see Dr. Goldman's image, but he could see me. That may have made it more comfortable for me to talk about the personal details of my concerns.

Dr. Goldman listened attentatively to my concerns and gave options that addressed the varied parts of issues. I felt he really understood my stress problems, and he was interested in finding the right ways to help me reduce the impact on my health.

Dr. Goldman has the patience and humility that makes you feel like you matter and uses those qualities to effectively diagnose the potential problem and then come up with sound solutions to attack the potential problem.

Since the video appointment did not occur, Dr. Goldman phoned me and we held an audio appointment. Ideally an in-person meeting would have been more personal but I was satisfied with the Q and A from Dr. Goldman. I appreciated him going through and listing all that we talked about including prescriptions that needed to be ordered. It was quite thorough. I'm looking forward to meeting him in person when it is safer to do so (COVID19).
