Dr. Mueller (fellow) saw me first. He was thorough, very nice, and has a great sense of humor. Ditto for Dr. Miniaci - I really liked her down-to-earth attitude. She explained my options (surgery or not) very clearly, and I agreed with her recommendation that surgery was not necessary at this time. Most of all, I appreciated the fact that Drs. Mueller and Miniaci treated me like a partner who had a voice in the care and management of my problem.

She listens. You don't have to give you yes or no answers. She answers and then explains why. This is very, very important to someone going through this type of procedure.

My care was primarily by the PA which was very good, not sure why the doctor had to come in unless the PA doesn't have all the credentials to see patients without the doctor.

Dr. Miniaci-Coxhead is the most fabulous physician! She is THE best surgeon for an ankle replacement (arthroplasty)! She is professional, kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and the epitome of technical achievement. It was well worth the trips from Dayton to the Cleveland Clinic. Everyone there is so kind and helped me so very much from beginning to end. I look forward to coming back next year for my annual evaluation!

Dr. Miniaci-Coxhead was business-like, but she appeared stressed and too rushed. She didn't appear to be very sympathetic, and she was too brief in explaining her assessment.
