Dr. Sandra Darling is an osteopathic physician with board certifications in Lifestyle Medicine and Preventive Medicine and Public Health. In her medical practice, she focuses on brain health and reducing the risk of Alzheimer's disease and dementia with lifestyle modifications. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve better physical and mental health through the prescription of dietary modifications, physical activity, sleep, and relaxation practices.
Dr. Darling graduated from Touro University California osteopathic medical school and completed residency at the Florida Department of Health. Prior to medical school, Dr. Darling worked in the field of architecture and design in San Francisco. She decided to change careers after she had a profound experience treating her own longstanding health issues primarily by altering her diet.

Dr. Darling is a gem! I have seen her off and on for six years and she has helped me correct some metabolic problems by helping me change my way of eating. She is extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and professional. I highly recommend her! She is a great asset to The Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Darling does an excellent job in listening to patients' concerns and questions and answers them giving an explanation that is clear, concise, and understandable with enough information to learn something new to know the reasons behind the facts, both in the class/SMA's and in the individual appointments. She is excellent in not only prescribing medications and behaviors but in also following up with each patient to see if they have been implemented. She is very approachable and creates a relaxed, uplifting, and safe environment. Dr. Darling and Holly work very well together and have been very helpful.

I have never, in my 49 years, felt so SEEN and listened to. Dr. Darling was very down to earth, explained everything in a way that made things easy to understand, and made me feel safe to share concerns that I might not have felt comfortable sharing with other providers.

I would give Dr. Darling more than five stars if I could. She is a gem! After my visit, I had a list of practical and doable changes that she suggested, all written out with links to helpful sites. She is an encourager who is kind and knowledgeable. With her help, I can make the improvements in my lifestyle that will bring me back to good health. Dr. Darling provides "World Class Care" and we are fortunate to have her here in Cleveland.
