Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 12/17/2019, Dr. Wiesen has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. Dr. Wiesen is an excellent listener and explained in detail all my issues and concerns. I was very impressed by the doctor. My wife was with me and she used to work for doctors and she felt he was one of the best she has encountered. Two of our family members will be making appointments to see him.

cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Wiesen. He was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to determine a diagnosis quickly, and came up with a treatment plan that I was involved in. With his treatment plan,in just a few days all symptoms/issues i presented with at the appointment were completely resolved. He never made me feel like the appointment was rushed, he was incredibly thorough. Absolutely amazing doctor and I am so grateful to have found him

Dr. Ari Wiesen is truly the most wonderful doctor I have ever had. No matter how busy or how many other clients he may have waiting he really takes his time, listens and is extremely thorough. I always feel that any worries I have are addressed with genuine care. My IBS that I have struggled with for years is finally under control and I am able to enjoy my life without such debilitating symptoms. No other doctor took the time to really investigate what was causing my IBS in the first place and how we could develop a treatment plan that worked for me.

Very easy, in and out. Nurses were very nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr Wiesen is very relaxed and I LOVED the music they were playing in the procedure room!!!

I was a new patient. The care provider never introduced himself to me. I would think if a patient is new to a provider, he or she would introduce themselves before procedure and layout what they are going to do. The nurse did all of that. Oh well, I got over it.

Dr. Weisen and his staff were excellent. I was a bit anxious and worried about the unknown and "what if's" with colonoscopy findings. He explained everything and put my mind at peace....there was nothing to worry about. He said very reassuringly "See you in 10 years."

I'm just going over the visit and do not feel like the time was taken or appropriate explanation was given for the visit. I will reserve my opinions after my next visit and/or conversation. I'm disappointed in my 7 minutes with the physician
Reviewed on Jul 18, 2019
the only thing I would suggest is that Dr Wiesen take a moment to greet the patient when entering the room and limit phone calls regarding other appointments while prepping for the procedure.

Dr. Weisen was very friendly! I still remember him telling me that everything was going to be okay and that he wished me 'love and light'. As a spiritual person this was very reassuring.
