Dr. Rodriguez was THE BEST! He was real and helped me in ways that my local cardiologist didn't have the knowledge or experience in. He made time for me after the CT scan to tell me the findings. He also called me shortly after I left the clinic to give me another result after he had time to look at it.

I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez and the Cleveland Clinic to anyone that needs heart care. I'm so grateful that he told me that although I'd been treated for 5 months for a blood clot in my mitral valve, he told me that I didn't have a blood clot! I appreciate him and his expertise tremendously.

Limited hours that Dr. Rodriguez offers can be an issue when traveling from out-of-state (6+ hour drive). Originally, I wanted to see Dr. Rodriguez in July (annually) but now it is pushed to end of September.

I brought up a related issue from my allergist-immunologist. He did not seem aware of metal allergies and autoimmunity issues from valves containing metals. While I appreciated his honesty, I was a bit surprised that Cleveland Clinic would not have protocols or testing in place for this . . . And that Dr. Rodriguez had not read my attachments (i.e., ELISA test results) prior to my appointment.
