L. Leonardo Rodriguez, MD, is a staff cardiologist in the Section of Cardiovascular Imaging, Department of the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, at the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic. He is also the Director of the Advanced Imaging Training Program.

Specialty/Clinical interests: Heart valve disease, endocarditis, pericardial disease, thoracic aortic aneurysm, cardiovascular imaging, echocardiogram, cardiac CT.

Dr. Rodriquez is very accommodating to his patients and has a great bedside manner. He is very efficient and is adept at trying to understand his patients. He does not seem rushed during an appointment. He is a great doctor and I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I am 87 years old. Throughout my professional lifetime (I am a University Professor) I have always consulted with the doctors and staff members of the Cleveland Clinic when my problems, both mental and phisical, suggested that I needed the best and most capable. I have never been disappointed.

Dr. Rodriguez was very attentive and detailed when speaking with me. I came for a second opinion and although Cleveland Clinic confirmed my current diagnosis, I received a very detailed explanation and my questions were all answered. I did receive information regarding care during dental appointments that I was not told about from my previous hospital's experience. I still have questions, but I feel much safer being under Dr. Rodriguez's care.
