About Brenda Jimenez Cantisano, MD

Brenda G. Jimenez Cantisano, MD is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she received her medical degree. She carried out her postgraduate training in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, where she completed a residency in internal medicine and performed duties as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Jimenez carried out her fellowship in gastroenterology in Cleveland Clinic Florida.

In 2013, Dr. Jimenez joined Cleveland Clinic Florida as a board-certified internist in the department of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. She has various medical interests, including hereditary colorectal cancer and polyposis, gastrointestinal motility, and women's issues in gastroenterology.

The staff in the endoscopy suite was very comforting and courteous.Dr. Jimenez has an excellent bedside manner. She explained the results of my endoscopic procedures very clearly. I would recommend her to anyone who needs to have a procedure at Cleveland Clinic.

Dr Jimenez is very compassionate and explains everything clearly in my dominant language: Spanish. The day of my colonoscopy, I complained about a possible UTI and she ordered a urinalisis. Results were positive and she followed up with the corresponding prescription. Very professional. Thank you, Dr Jimenez.

Dr. Jimenez is exceptional on many levels - her medical knowledge, expertise, ability to analyze my problem, and recommendations. This was my first visit to Cleveland Clinic and I was very impressed with the facility. It surpasses all the hospitals I have been involved with. Also, Dr. Jinendez staff is professional, smart, and have good personalities.

I informed the staff I have a genetic condition that calls for a different approach to administering an IV, the staff listened to me and took the appropriate measures to ensure this would happen. I was very appreciative of this that they took my concerns seriously. This has not been my experience at other providers. Very grateful of your dedicated team in the outpatient surgery dept. The nurses and doctors were very caring.
