About Brenda Jimenez Cantisano, MD

Brenda G. Jimenez Cantisano, MD is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she received her medical degree. She carried out her postgraduate training in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, where she completed a residency in internal medicine and performed duties as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Jimenez carried out her fellowship in gastroenterology in Cleveland Clinic Florida.

In 2013, Dr. Jimenez joined Cleveland Clinic Florida as a board-certified internist in the department of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. She has various medical interests, including hereditary colorectal cancer and polyposis, gastrointestinal motility, and women's issues in gastroenterology.

I think video conference is a new way, and very important. It was very helpful for somebody like me who couldn't drive all the way down to Weston from Jupiter. It will be very beneficial and helpful if we could always have pre-doctor visits via video chat.

staff was extremely professional and the doctor was on time and listened to me. I am very confident we will get to the root of my problems and I wish this could happen more quickly. Waiting for some test results and can't get the Hydrogen Breath Test until February. Hoping for a cancellation! Meantime I have extreme spasms and the pain is crazy!

In consultation with Dr. Macchia, Dr. Jimenez was able to develop a plan of care to address a longstanding issue regarding the connection between the UTI associated with a catheter and C Diff.
