Dr. Genin has been awesome with caring for my elbow injury! I has always taken time to explain everything in detail and do what is really best for me and my injury. I truly feel like I was in the best hands possible for my injury

Dr. Genin is one of the most thorough, personable, and supportive doctor's I have ever dealt with. I am grateful to the person who referred me, and I have referred others to him. His support staff is always courteous, caring and accessible.

Dr. Genin rarely but sometimes gets delayed. However, that's because he has so many people who rely on him and also because he is willing to answer all questions and address all concerns, as every doctor should be. I wish more doctors were like him!

the clinic should clone Dr. Genin. he is a fine doctor. very engaging and informative. he did more for me in one visit than I have experienced in three years.

Reviewed on Jun 4, 2018

I waited a long time (1-1/2 hours) to see this provider. That is unacceptable.

Reviewed on May 8, 2018

Dr. Genin took time to explain pros and cons of potential treatment options which enable me to make my best informed decision. I very much appreciate that!

Reviewed on May 8, 2018

Although not informed of wait time, I did not feel rushed and the doctor took as much time as needed to explain the planned course of treatment. If he provided the same compassionate care for a patient before me that may have put him behind and I suspect that is the case.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Genin. He is a wonderful physician. Also, you might want to add "mychart" to your questionnaire since that is the way I communicate with Dr. Genin or his office. It is very efficient and I have had a very good experience using that mode of communication. Cheryl or Lori are wonderful at responding to my messages.

Dr. Genin was excellent - prepared; solid diagnosis, sound treatment - still need time to see impact on health recovery

Reviewed on Jan 17, 2018

He was so confusing. When he went to leave the room, he asked me if his plan was OK. I did not really understand the plan, so I hesitated. He then asked again if it was OK, but he said it as if he was talking to a child. I just replied yeah, OK. He said nothing about an ultrasound. Then the nurse came back in and said that he wanted me to get an ultrasound. I went to this provider previously, and my recollection was that he was good. So I was surprised that my appointment was hurried after waiting for a week or two to get in. Perhaps he was running behind, but I was pretty shocked at his dismissal of my concerns with my arm and his attitude towards me generally. I plan on finding another provider and will not be getting the ultrasound or the medication he prescribed because he lost my trust.

Reviewed on Jan 15, 2018

Very pro-active about care. Explained options and potential outcomes with me and let me decide on which direction to go.

I saw Dr. Genin in 2015 for a hamstring injury and came back to see him for a different injury and I cannot say enough great things about him. He takes his time and explains what he wants to do and why. He answers all questions without making you feel like you are being rushed and has excellent bedside manner. There are many doctors I could choose from in the Pittsburgh area where I live however the care I receive and confidence from Dr. Genin I have received from my past appointment in 2015 and presently is worth the 2 hour drive! So I thank you!

While the doctor was thorough in his exam and explanation I sensed immediately he was rushing to get to the next patient to stay on schedule. I had questions but I was not given the opportunity after his exam to ask them. The doctors are now too rushed requiring them to see too many patients per day.

The physician explained my options very clearly and I felt like all decisions that were being made were the best for my situation
