Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

the check out clerk and i had a great conversation about baseball - like over 5 minutes. appreciated that! dr hubbard is very nice, drew a diagram of the heart while explaining things to me. went there for a stress test, but he looked at all of my records and thought i didn't necessarily need it. it was my choice, and i went with that recommendation - very refreshing to have tests canceled and no costs incurred, than the other way around. dr hubbard is very easy to talk to.

Dr. Hubbard is the best doctor ever! He is so well-informed and intelligent, but also down-to-earth. His smile lights up the room. He is easy to talk to and share concerns and never makes me feel stupid for asking questions multiple times. My particular heat condition is benign, but very scary and uncomfortable. As such, a lot of what I need is reassurance. Dr. Hubbard is always reassuring and never acts as if I am bothering him. He has explained everything to me very well and every time I leave his office, I feel like I am in a better mood than before I came. His staff is just as great, especially his nurse. She is so knowledgeable and always answer my calls when I have questions. Dr. Hubbard and his office makes it clear why the Cleveland Clinic is world-renowned.

Dr. Hubbard is terrific and should be a model for good doctoring - he listens, he cares, and explains, and does the good things that patients need to make good decisions. Thank you Dr. Hubbard - you are a great example of how good medicine should be practiced!!!!!!!
