Biography

About C. Randall Lane, MD

Dr. Lane is a staff physician in the Cleveland Clinic Respiratory Institute, Departments of Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine. He joined the cleveland clinic staff in 2010, after completing fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Yale University.  His clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with advanced lung disease undergoing lung transplantation.  He also attends in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and is active in the teaching of residents and fellows.  He has participated in research which focuses on improving outcomes in lung transplantation, and has authored or co-authored papers published in Chest, Transplantation, Clinics in Chest Medicine, and the International Journal of COPD.

Dr. Lane was excellent. After 2 days of being poked, prodded, finding our way around the campus, I had a lot of questions and I knew the person I was talking to was not the right person to answer my questions. He explained things to me and made sure he answered the questions and that I (we) understood.

Dr.Lane is exceptional. He listened to my concerns as I'm having issues with tacrilimus levels and kidney function. We're working on a solution together with the nurses in tow. He addressed my questions about all the vaccines he would like me to get.
