About Alan Kominsky, MD

Alan Kominsky, MD, FACS, practices in the Cleveland Clinic Head and Neck Institute. He is currently on the Cleveland Clinic Board of Governors and is the Head and Neck Institute Residency Program Director. Dr. Kominsky also has served the institute in multiple capacities including Vice-Chairman and Quality Review Officer.

Dr. Kominsky in board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is also one of a small number of otolaryngologists board-certified in Sleep Medicine. He has multiple interests in ENT, including obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, nasal obstruction, sinus disease, chronic tonsillitis and hoarseness.

Dr. Kominsky has lectured on obstructive sleep apnea and is on the Sleep Disorders Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is on staff at the Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders Center as part of a multispecialty faculty taking care of obstructive sleep apnea.

dr. kominsky was very rushed, sarcastic, condescending, and did not listen to what I was saying or do the proper tests needed for my condition. wrongly referred me to a neurologist when the problems are within my sinuses. neurologist ended up referring me back to another ent. dr. kominsky does not know how to treat a patient and should go back to medical school
