Nicole Palekar, MD is a graduate of the University of Miami and the University of Miami School of Medicine, where she received both her undergraduate and medical degrees. Postgraduate Dr. Palekar carried out her medical training at Willford Hall Medical Center through participating in a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology.
In 2010, Dr. Palekar joined Cleveland Clinic Florida as a board-certified internist in the department of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. She has various medical interests, some of which she is especially interested in, such as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies, inflammatory bowel disease, iron deficiency anemia, therapeutic endoscopy including difficult colonoscopy and polypectomy, women issue in gastroenterology, and endoscopic ultrasounds.

That was the most efficient and respectful experience I've had at a hospital and medical facility. The single desk check in was smooth, everyone was on time. And most importantly - I got to meet my Dr *before* the day of the colonoscopy!

1st visit with Dr. Palekar. She impressed as quite knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. She carefully reviewed the history of my problem, meds that worked and those that didn't. To diagnose the root cause of my chronic condition, she ordered tests that previously had not been done. So I'm extremely satisfied with the visit and am hopeful.

She was very clear and precise about her decision about my circumstances and addressed my concerns about previous test results, saying I had nothing to worry about. This lifted a tremendous sense of impending doom I had been feeling. I left the building happy!

The nursing practitioner/anesthesiologist was ABSOLUTELY one of the best nursing experiences I've had - albeit short while awake. She was so comforting and attentive - last I recall was her helping me transition to being "under" following administration of anesthesia.

It was a great experience. All the nurses and Doctors are awesome. They took very good care of me. They made sure I knew all my instructions before,during, and after the procedure. Thank you so much to all who took care of me. I hope if I had to do this procedure again it would be Cleveland clinic. From the time I walked through the door and out the door Everyone was amazing. They are caring and professional. I felt very safe.
